Tomina Larsdtr (short for Lars’ daughter) was the mother of Konrad (This is the correct spelling). Tomina was not married when she gave birth to Konrad and she came pregnant up to Tjötta (Island in the southern part of Troms) from Helgeland (south of Bodö). The childs father (Johan Jörgensen) came from Tjötta. Tominas father was Lars Justad.
Tomina gave birth to 2 other kids “outside” marriage (when not married): Ingolf Marius Olsen (Born: 1875, father Ole Severin Olsen) and Nelson Heyerdal Kristensen, (Born 1879, father Kristen Marelius Robertsen). She then got married with Ole Severin Olsen and gave birth to another child (Otilie Therese Olsdtr, born 1880).
Ole and Tomina lived at Steiro in Sortland before they moved to Kristiansand in 1905. All kids went to America and they got married before they left.
Konrad:
He married Harda Leonore Albertsdtr from Reinsnes in Sortland (1896), the daughter of Albert Jentoft Hanssen and Antonette Larsdtr. The newly wedded couple lived at Reinsnes until they got 3 kids. 2 x Trygve (The first one born 1896 died as a baby) and Alf. They then moved to Sortland (The farm Sortland) and had 3 more children: Terese Itilie (Born 1903), Bjarne Haakon (Born 1905) and then Albert Antoni (Born 1907). The family emigrated in 1907. | |

Konrat Martin Jorgensen, born 1872 under the care of Tomasine Karoline Larsen. The 1900 census for Sortland shows Konradt Jorgensen, born 1872, married to Hardina Albertdatter, born 1874, with sons Trygve Kondratsen, born 1894 and Alf Konradtsen, (on immigration changed to Alf Jorgenson) born Aug 26, 1899. They were living with the wife's parents, Albert Hansen and Antonette Larsen. | |
